Forest Home

Accord, New York

2017

Originally built in the 70’s, this home was divided with interior walls that ran at a 45 degree angle to the two long, front and back exterior walls and no roof overhang.  After the renovation it barely resembled it’s previous dated modern look.  the walls to the left and right remain as they were originally built however all of the interior walls have been demolished, the roof joists were beefed up and a large I beam running the length of the house installed,  walls were re-positioned to create a larger open space in the center of the home and almost all of the windows resized and re positioned.
